Job Description

As a product manager in the Datacenter Software organization, you will be an integral member of a team that is inventing better ways of designing, building, and operating the physical infrastructure of the cloud.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is the next-generation cloud designed to run any application, faster and more securely, for less. Responsibilities

  • Continually learn. Deeply understand the business processes and technologies required to design, build, and operate a network of public cloud datacenters. Gather feedback throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Uncover customer needs. Demonstrate a high degree of empathy and creativity in identifying customer pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead measurable impact. Identify, analyze, and prioritize - using both qualitative and quantitative measures - the largest opportunities for business impact.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap. Partner with software engineering to craft and maintain a 12-month product roadmap for software development. Represent the product roadmap and strategy to customers and stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate and document the product vision and functional product requirements. Support software engineering and UX design in the development of software solutions.
  • Evangelize and educate datacenter designers, builders, and operators in using our solutions. Create content to help enable customer success.
  • 3-5 years in a software related product manager role required
  • 8 years of software or datacenter industry experience required

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 - $199,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
